You describe what you give, and creators apply themselves, including those from your city, from the Influencers Friendly map. The contract, statuses, chat and acceptance of the content stay in the app to the end. Blogger Bank currently charges no commission on barter to either side (as of 22 October 2026).

A treatment, a dinner or a stay for content, no transfer

You add the task on the Influencers Friendly map, and creators from your city apply themselves.

You enter the value of the visit in the task and set the date in the chat, no private messages.

You publish, choose, accept. You pay the creator in kind.

Step 1

Describe the task and the barter value

What you give, what content you expect and by when. The creator sees the value of the exchange before applying.

Step 2

Choose among the applications

The first ones usually arrive within 3 hours. You compare profiles, statistics and reviews. The brand subscription opens all applications, chat and hiring.

Step 3

The creator confirms the start, you agree the details

A contract with the terms of the task opens automatically. Address, date and files stay in the task chat.

Step 4

You accept the content

The creator submits the finished content for acceptance. You approve it and the task closes. No commission.

When barter pays off, and when it is better to pay

The same collaboration settled in two ways. Choose by what you need.

Where to start: with barter or with a paid task?

No budget

Barter: a product or a visit instead of money

You spend no budget and pay no commission. Some creators, though, work only for a fee.

More control

A fee: a rate and requirements

You pay an amount set up front and can require ad rights, a number of shots and revisions. The budget waits in escrow until you accept the content.

A venue, a salon and a new brand usually start with barter: it costs one product. When you need content for paid ads or several formats for a cheap product, pay a fee from the start. The content must be labelled as advertising in both cases.

Before you publish: risk, tax, ad labelling

Commission, risk, valuing the product, ad labelling and tax.

Is barter on Blogger Bank commission-free?

Yes. On a barter task the platform charges no commission to either the brand or the creator (as of 22 October 2026). Signing up and publishing a task are free. The brand subscription opens all applications, chat and hiring, the same as on a paid task. The 5% + 5% commission applies to paid tasks only.

What if the creator takes the product and never publishes?

Barter does not go through escrow, so the platform holds no security for it. The risk is lower because the creators who apply chose your task themselves, and you pick among them by statistics and other brands' reviews. After hiring, a contract with the task's terms is created, the creator confirms the start, and you see the status and the content for acceptance. At the end you leave a review that the next brands will see.

How to write down barter terms

How many creators will apply to a barter task?

It depends on the product, the city and the niche, but you do not have to ask anyone: creators browse the catalogue and the map themselves, and the first applications usually arrive within 3 hours. You publish the task without a subscription and see the response before deciding whether to buy one.

See barter tasks

How do I value a product or a service for barter?

At the price the end customer pays, not at cost. You enter that value in the task and the creator sees it before applying. Compare it with the rate for a similar format in your niche: when the product is worth clearly less than a reel from that creator, fewer will apply, or it is worth adding the difference in cash.

Creator rates by niche

How do I find creators from my city for barter?

Add the task on the Influencers Friendly map: creators nearby see it on the map and apply themselves, and you filter applications by city and platform. You book the visit in the task chat.

Does barter have to be labelled as advertising?

Yes. A product given for free is advertising too, so the content must be clearly labelled, for example #ad. Agree on the labelling in the task before the start.

UOKiK and KRRiT rules

Is barter taxed?

Yes. The product or service received is income for the creator, at the value set in the task, and it has to be declared. How to do it is explained in a separate answer.

Tax on barter

How do I send the product to the creator?

After hiring, the creator confirms the start and a chat opens in the task: that is where you agree on the address and the shipping or visit date. Send the product early, so the creator can test it before publishing.
